TOYOTA Corporate Challenge |

The 2008 Toyota Corporate Challenge is a corporation team building event. This one day event is an excellent opportunity for members of Corporate America to get out of the office and have some fun in the sun. Teams will be participating in a new and exciting experience and bringing them all together with a universal sense of accomplishment. Typical outcomes demonstrate an increase in employee morale, development of communication skills, personnel support techniques, and increased compatibility. The Challenge is made up of 4-person teams, participating in a timed relay, competing for the fastest time of the day. Teams will individually navigate the course. All participants will be given a familiarization of the watercraft, the course and water safety rules and guidelines. All watercraft and safety equipment necessary to participate in the event will be provided.
Each participant will be awarded a t-shirt, event decal and a one day APBA Membership. The top five teams and their corresponding corporations will be awarded individual event plaques. |

This race is comprised of a 4-person relay team competing for the fastest time on a section of a professional watercross race course. One member of the relay team at a time will start at a designed starting line, and the second member of the relay team will begin once the first participant crosses a designated finish line. The clock will continue to run until all four relay team members have crossed the finish line. This timed event is individually run to ensure the safety of all participants and to allow each participant their own moment in the spot light. Whereas on Saturday and Sunday, professional watercross racers will be competing “Handle Bar-to-Handle Bar” and the relay event will not be a “Head to Head” competition. The top five teams with the fastest time will receive their plaques during the award ceremony which will kick off the Beach Party at approximately 4 PM. The top two relay teams will be invited back on Saturday to re-compete in a highlighted event to determine the fastest corporate team. These two teams will have the opportunity to personally meet the professional racers and watch them “strut their stuff!” During the competition, a professional announcer will be interacting with the crowd and the participants to create an inclusive day of fun excitement for everyone.
